Pastor Dave is an ex-policeman,
ex-criminal, former drug addict and now a drug counselor and Pastor.
Pastor Dave and his wife Isobel have been involved in rehabilitation for the past 20 years and have a passion to see the students recover from drug addiction.
They have dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ and rehabilitation.
WHO WE ARE
We are a registered faith based, substance abuse treatment program for men. We have over 20 years experience, and have provided recovery for hundreds of individuals battling to break free from addiction and related behaviors. We focus on substance abuse prevention, intervention, addict rescue, education, rehabilitation, addiction counseling and support. We have a huge success rate, due to the fact that we go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to our clients. Our professional male staff not only stay on the premises, but invest in each individual wholeheartedly to take them through the steps of recovery. We not only focus on the inpatient treatment, but also pay close attention to detail, and ensure that discharge planning is done properly, and that there will be set plans and goals in place to get the recovered person back into society.

6 months inpatient plus 3 months outpatient treatment program.
12 month inpatient treatment program plus 3 months outpatient treatment program.

WE BELIEVE THAT :
Addiction is characterized by an individual’s progressive loss of control over the continuing use of a substance or behavior. The user becomes obsessed with the substance or behavior despite adverse consequences and vigorously denies the existence of a problem if confronted. The user will do just about anything to maintain their addiction, so it affects not only the individual person but can also be damaging to families, relationships, careers, and many other aspects of life.
Because negative behaviors and habits take a long time to develop, it is important to understand that it will take time to change the negative behaviors, responses and habits into positive and healthy habits and way of life. Being a faith based program, we believe that labeling a person as an addict for the rest of their lives is detrimental to their recovery process, as Jesus sets us free entirely from all bondage, if that is what our hearts truly desire. John 8:36 says: "Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed." We now teach our residents to truly walk in the freedom that Jesus Christ gives them.

"My journey down a slippery slop began in 1986, when I joined the police. Surprisingly it was my career there that started my addiction to crack cocaine. As I wrote this book, it was difficult trying to remember everything - but with the aid of a number of stories, I hope to piece together the puzzle of my past life. I have written to the best of my memory, providing insight into my training to become a conscienceless killer, eventually leading to my drug addiction and criminal lifestyle. Also the battle with my demons and how I overcame them on the road to recovery."
